Everyone is welcome to join us on Sunday 6th July for Strawberry Sunday at the Monteath Mausoleum. This fundraising event will feature summer strawberries, home-made cakes, refreshments, live music, children’s activities, guided tours and much more. Entry is free (although we hope you can make a donation).

CAR PARKING will be at LilliardsEdge Holiday Park overspill car park (signposted), with a short walk up to the Mausoleum from there. Click here for map. Our small car park at the Mausoleum is prioritised for elderly and disabled visitors on this day.

Strawberry Sunday will start at 1pm and finish around 4pm, but don’t leave it too late if you like cakes and strawberries - supplies are limited! Our Guides will be on hand to show visitors around the imposing mausoleum, and singers and musicians will keep you entertained. There will be shade from the sun (!) for visitors, and children can take part in the Quiz or colour-in one of the Lions or an Angel to take home.

If you can’t make Sunday, we are also open on Saturday 5th July 10am - 4pm as a normal Open Day with Guides and car park available - but you will miss the strawberries!
