Everyone is welcome to join us on Sunday 2nd July for Strawberry Sunday at the Monteath Mausoleum. This fundraising event will feature summer strawberries, refreshments, live music, children’s activities, guided tours and much more. Entry is free (although we hope you can make a donation) and the car park will be open from the A68 - look out for the strawberry signs!

Strawberry Sunday will start at 1pm and finish around 4pm, but don’t leave it too late if you like strawberries - supplies are limited! Our Guides will be on hand to show visitors around the imposing mausoleum, and the Galashiels Town Band will keep you entertained. There will be a marquee to shade visitors from the sun and children can take part in the Quiz and Treasure Hunt, or colour in one of the Lions or an Angel to take home.

If you can’t make Sunday, we are also open on Saturday 1st July 10am - 4pm as a normal Open Day with Guides and car park available - but you will miss the strawberries!
